i'm isolated. and i'm not talking about 'i am living at home with my parents and semi-taking a break from the world around me' isolated. i'm ok with that for the most part, and even relish a little bit of isolation now and again. but this kind of isolated is the kind where none of my friends are at the same point in life as me. they might be close, but it's more like a relay race, meeting up to exchange a baton, but one fading out as the other takes off. no one is right here, right now. and i'm kind of lonely in the right here, right now.
